Who we are
Lush Fiction is an online service for creating and reading personalised, AI-generated fiction. In these Terms, “Lush Fiction”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Lush Fiction.com.
Adults only
Lush Fiction is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or older. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally permitted to access adult-oriented fiction where you live. We may restrict or close accounts where we reasonably believe this requirement has not been met.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding your sign-in details and activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not share or sell access to your account.
Personalised stories and AI-generated content
You provide characters, settings, prompts and chapter directions, and our service uses third-party AI technology to generate fictional text and cover imagery. Results may be unexpected, inconsistent, or possibly inaccurate due to the nature of AI text generation. We do not promise any particular creative outcome or uninterrupted availability. You should not submit information about another person without the right to do so.
Acceptable use
You must not use Lush Fiction to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, impersonate someone, harass others, exploit children or attempt to bypass our security or usage limits. Fictional content must involve adults. We may refuse a generation, remove unlawful content or suspend access where reasonably necessary for safety, security or legal compliance.
Subscriptions and billing
Lush Fiction offers monthly subscriptions. Our currently planned Essential plan is US$9.99 per month for up to 3 books and 3 additional cover regenerations per billing cycle. Our currently planned Premium plan is US$14.99 per month for up to 5 books, 8 additional cover regenerations per billing cycle and PDF downloads. We currently intend to process payments; the actual payment provider and final checkout terms will be confirmed at launch. The checkout page controls the actual price, included features, taxes, currency and any promotional offer at the time you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled, and you authorise the payment provider shown at checkout to collect recurring charges. We will disclose material pricing changes in advance where required by law.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription using the cancellation method shown in your account or by contacting us. Cancellation prevents future renewals, and your paid access ordinarily continues until the end of your current paid billing period. When that period ends, you lose access to your bookshelf and the books stored in your Lush Fiction account. If you wish to keep a book, download an available PDF while your Premium subscription remains active. We do not generally provide partial-period refunds for a change of mind, but this does not limit any remedy available under applicable consumer law.
Books, covers and downloads
Books and cover-generation allowances apply per billing cycle and are subject to the plan shown at checkout. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over unless we expressly say otherwise. Premium PDF downloads are available only while an eligible subscription is active. After your paid subscription period ends following cancellation, you can no longer access your books through Lush Fiction. Any PDF you downloaded beforehand remains on your own device, subject to these Terms. We may apply reasonable technical limits to prevent misuse. Losing access does not necessarily mean all copies of account data are immediately deleted; see our Privacy Policy.
Your content and permitted use
You retain any rights you have in the prompts and other material you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that material to provide and secure the service, including sending relevant inputs to AI providers. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use your generated stories and covers for personal, non-commercial enjoyment and download them where your plan allows. AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. Do not assume exclusivity or that generated content is free of third-party rights.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the personal information we collect, why we use it and how third-party providers may process it. Do not include confidential or highly sensitive personal information in story prompts.
Availability and changes
We may update the service, models, generation limits or features to improve performance, address security issues or comply with law. If a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer law guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control or by misuse of your account. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, unlawful conduct or threats to the service, taking reasonable steps and providing notice where appropriate. Statutory rights and accrued payment obligations survive termination where applicable.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States of America, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
